Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (OMAT)

Services we provide:

We offer outpatient methadone treatment for clients who are opiate dependent. Methadone will be used as an adjunct to treatment to help eliminate withdrawal symptoms and cravings for opiates, plus block the effects of opiate use. We have individual and group counseling services available in Chicago, to help clients gain therapeutic skills necessary for recovery maintenance. Clients will receive methadone Monday - Saturday or as client code indicates.

Who is eligible for OMAT services?

Any client who is medically or psychologically stable as indicated by initial screening, is 18 years of age or older, had opiate dependence for more than one year, and agrees to follow program rules.

How to access our services:

A counselor will be available to perform initial screenings Monday - Friday 6 am - 12 pm. All appropriate clients will receive date for scheduled assessment prior to completing the initial screening.
